CCHC Learning Collaborative – Planning for and Responding to Medical Emergencies

Please join us for a CCHC Learning Collaborative on Preparing for and Responding to Medical Emergencies on Wednesday October 15th from 12:30 pm-3:30 pm.

- 12:30-12:35 pm: Welcome!
- 12:35-1:30 pm: Presentation by Justin Clark, Regulatory Specialist, DCDEE
- 1:30-1:35 pm: 5-minute break
- 1:35-2:30 pm: Presentation by Gregory Edwards, EMS for Children Program Manager, Office of Emergency Medical Services
- 2:30-2:35 pm: 5-minute break
- 2:35-2:45 pm: HSAET indicators
- 2:45-3:10 pm: Breakout rooms
- 3:10-3:30: pm: Wrap-up and evaluations
Three Nursing Contact Hours will be available for this Learning Collaborative. Nursing contact hours are made possible through a partnership of NC DHHS/Division of Child and Family Well-Being/Whole Child Health section with the Office of the Chief Public Health Nurse. Contact hours are acceptable for RNs to use towards their licensing renewal requirements of NC Board of Nursing, but are not appropriate for any national credentialing or certification requirements.
