Regional CCHCs
The NC Resource Center provides regional child care health consultation services to 55 counties across North Carolina that do not have a local Child Care Health Consultant (CCHC). Nine Regional CCHCs provide health and safety support and guidance to child care facilities and collaborate with community partners.

CCHCs work with early care and education facilities to improve the health and safety of their programs. Contact a regional CCHC for:

- Training and professional development
- Support with policies and procesdures
- Health and safety assessments
- Connections to community resources
Regional CCHCs offer support on these health and safety topics and more:
- Illness and infectious disease
- Environmental health
- Children with special health care needs
- Medication administration
- Emergency preparedness, response, recovery
- Physical activity, nutrition, and breastfeeding
